After 18 months of use an unbearable noise during cycle. At the two year mark a complete breakdown that I attributed to the motor.
This will be the last Whirlpool product I ever purchase.

Regarding the Whirlpool Dishwasher Quiet Partner 1. This dishwasher worked exceptionally well for 14 months, then the motor became increasingly more noisy. The extremely noisy cycles lasted about 3 weeks then the dishwasher stopped working completely then it just buzzed when I tried to turn it on.

I was extremely disappointed the dishwasher only lasted 14 months. I am a single person with two young children so the dishwasher did not get brutal use.

I called Whirlpool directly at 1-800-253-1301 and after an endless circle with their automated system, was able to speak with a pleasant lady who said "sorry" "this dishwasher was invoiced to the builder in 6/2008 and the one year warranty starts ticking then not when it was actually installed" (EOQ)...... (I bought my house 11/08).
