These comments are really helpful because they tell the story that many of the dishwasher consumer reports still don't reveal. The long term reliability and costs of each brand of dishwasher seem to vary greatly and you can't tell much from reports based on just one or two years of ownership. Though there do seem to be some disastrous dishwashers that go wrong right from the start!

I agree, this dishwasher is quiet but doesn't clean worth a darn!
