Bosch Dishwasher 

A Bosch dishwasher comprises German engineering with quality and longevity and is very popular on both the European and American markets. With a Bosch dishwasher you get a quality product packed with innovative technologies.

I have had three of these so far, having sadly had to leave two behind when we moved house. The question of which is the best Bosch dishwasher model keeps getting a new answer, as new models come onto the market.

But first of all,  what did we as a family really like about them? We read all the best dishwasher reviews and looked at all the dishwasher ratings but what impressed us most was the feedback we got from friends and family who already had a Bosch. When we finally made our choice, it was because of the following

Key Features:

• Performance, resource saving and energy efficiency were the main features we liked. This brand offers excellent and reliable washing performance and a good variety of programs and features.
• A good saftey feature is that all models shut-off automatically if the door is opened during the washing operation. However, a child-lock is not present in all models.

• They are very energy efficient and use less water than most other makes.
• Noise emission is kept very low, so they are ideal for open-plan kitchens or combined kitchen/living areas.
• A minus on many models is the lack of a self cleaning filter. The filter needs to be cleaned out manually at regular intervals. If this is not done, washing performance will decrease significantly.

• Cycle time is between 115 and 135 min. depending on the individual model.
• If a soil sensor is built in, water consumption will be adjusted to the grade of soiled goods. This means it should save water, but this is not totally proven yet in tests under every-day conditions. A downside of this feature is that a washing cycle can take longer, depending on how heavily soiled the dishes are.

• Loading capacity and flexibility is good, as adjustable upper racks and tines,  flatware slots and silverware baskets help to store a considerable load easily.

In Summary: we found that the Bosch dishwashers were excellent performers with low noise emission. 

In addition, a Bosch dishwasher operates very energy-and- water efficiently.: good 'green' credentials.

Price range is between est. $540 - $1550.

Buying a Bosch Dishwasher

Bosch dishwasher seem to have become very popular in Europe and America.

They are reliable and energy-/water- efficient machines with a good load capacity and flexibility.

It is one of the quietest makes during operation at the moment. However, this comes with one slight down side: the lack of a self-cleaning filter and a food disposer.

Apart from this it is a superb dishwasher!
